Dr.Carol Swenson is a rarity. Over the years, I have come across psychologists and clinicians that viewed patients as diagnosis. Carol does not and in fact is the complete opposite. I have suffered from depression, anxiety, anger issues, and so many more. Without her help, I would not be where I am. I currently attend Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and I am forever grateful for her help. If you are looking for references, search no longer. Professional and comforting
I highly recommend Dr. Carol Swenson. My teenage daughter had a difficult four years of high school. Dr. Swenson taught her how to handle her extreme anxiety, her anger, her disappointments by teaching her skills she could use right then and also in her future as she entered young adulthood. My daughter is now a thriving college freshman attending the school of her dreams.
Always professional; Always engaged during therapy sessions
When I relocated to Connecticut in 2002 I was referred to Dr. Swenson by a therapist I was seeing while living in Western New York. At the time I was dealing with childhood family issues and a recent divorce. I found Dr. Swenson to be very professional, empathetic, and focused. My sessions became a "safe haven" allowing me to explore and resolve issues and feeling that had been with me many, many years. I would highly recommend her services.
